IPIC International provides a range of services. These include:
Destination Inspection Condition and Quality
Our customized Destination Inspection Services are designed to assess product quality and condition based on declared or agreed-to grade standards. This ensures that fruit and vegetable products meet specific requirements, whether they be according to Canadian, US or International (OECD) Standards.
We can also test other selected criteria including weight and size, solubility solid content (sugar/brix), firmness/pressure or other pertinent data. Our detailed results are based on customer requests and specifications (such as lot number, packing date and so on) to help pinpoint the origin of any delivery issues.
Cargo Inspections
We can perform load inspections on request in cases of suspected inadequate or inappropriate temperature during transit. Pulp temperatures are taken of each item while the trailer is unloaded. In addition, we can retrieve temperature recorders and evaluate the condition of fresh produce to assess whether the damages/defects may have occurred at the point of origin (at the shipper’s facility) or subsequent to arrival.
Marine Survey Loss Assessment
We can additionally provide a full survey related to issues during international cargo (sea or air) transit, including transit history, to assess where and why the issues occurred.
Our extensive Marine Survey Loss Assessment includes the following services:
- Cargo packing inspections
- Storage site and facility inspections
- Vessel inspections

- Cargo load and stow inspection
- Cargo out turn and delivery inspection
